Head of Technical Strategy
As former managing member/owner of Newton Advisors LLC, Mark has over 25 years of buy- and sell-side experience. Before Fundstrat, he worked at Diamondback Capital Management, and at Morgan Stanley, as a technical strategist. Mark has traded equity options as a market maker / floor trader on the CBOE, and has worked in risk management. He is a member of the Market Technicians Association, and former member of the CBOE, CBOT, and PHLX. He makes regular appearances on CNBC, FOX Business, and Bloomberg. Mark graduated with a BS in Finance from Virginia Tech in 1991, obtaining his Chartered Market Technician designation in 2002.
Sean Farrell AC
Head of Digital Asset Strategy
Sean Farrell is the Head of Digital Asset Strategy at Fundstrat, where he leads the firm’s research on crypto markets and blockchain innovation. Over the past five years, Sean has helped establish Fundstrat as a leading source of institutional digital-asset research, combining macroeconomic analysis with on-chain and liquidity-based models to guide investors through this rapidly evolving space. He is a frequent guest on Coinage and FinTech TV and other crypto-focused media outlets. Sean’s market insights and forecasts have been featured in major publications including MarketWatch, CoinDesk, Barron’s, and Yahoo Finance. Before joining Fundstrat, Sean was a manager in the Transaction Opinions group at Alvarez & Marsal, and previously worked as an associate at Anvil Advisors. Sean holds a B.S. in Finance from Lehigh University.
