Crypto Market Update - September 2026

Key Topics

After a long stretch below its 200-day moving average, Bitcoin has finally broken back above it. Correlation to gold just hit a record, and investors are wondering if now’s a good time to add to positioning.

In this month’s Crypto Market Update, Head of Digital Asset Strategy Sean Farrell laid out why he needs more proof to trust these nascent gains. Head of Technical Strategy Mark Newton explains why he sees a cheaper entry point into late September to mid-October for tactical investors.

Watch the replay to hear Sean and Mark discuss:

• The signals Sean is watching to judge whether this low will hold
• What yields’ latest move could mean for Bitcoin, and the November date on the radar
• How crypto has held up against rising rates, and what that could be telling us
• Where the market is rewarding strength, and why a recent SEC decision could matter for DeFi
• Whether the rally is getting too hot, and what that means for positioning
• Mark’s technical read on BTC, ETH, HYPE, and ZEC, and the levels he’s watching from here
